Today’s Devotional
Time to reflect
- Recognize that retaliation and revenge are not in line with God’s will for our lives.
- Embrace the higher standard of love, mercy, and forgiveness that Jesus calls us to live by.
- Resist the temptation to repay evil with evil, and instead, respond with kindness and grace.
- Seek opportunities to demonstrate love and forgiveness to those who have wronged us.
- Remember that our actions reflect our relationship with God and our commitment to His kingdom.
Prayer Of The Day
Lord, thank You for Your example of love, mercy, and forgiveness. Help us to resist the urge to retaliate and seek revenge when we have been wronged. Empower us with Your Holy Spirit to respond with grace, kindness, and forgiveness, even when it seems difficult. May our actions reflect Your heart and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
