Today’s Devotional
Acts 2:21 is a powerful and reassuring verse that speaks of God’s grace, mercy, and the promise of salvation for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord. This verse comes from Peter’s sermon on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the believers. Peter uses the words of the prophet Joel to emphasize that God’s promise of salvation extends to all people, regardless of their background or circumstances.
This verse is a reminder that salvation is a gift from God, and it is not based on our merit or good deeds. It is only by calling on the name of Jesus and placing our faith in Him that we can experience forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life. As followers of Christ, it is our responsibility to share this message of hope with others and to extend the invitation to call on the name of the Lord for salvation.
