Time to reflect
- Recognize that our understanding of God’s plans and purposes may be limited. We may not always know the timing or the details of His plans, but we can trust that He is in control and working everything out for His glory and our good.
- Be open to the guidance and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. As Jesus’ followers, we are called to be His witnesses in the world, sharing the good news of His love and salvation with others. To do this effectively, we need the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
- Focus on our mission as witnesses for Christ, rather than getting caught up in speculation about future events or the specifics of God’s plans. Our primary responsibility is to share the gospel message and make disciples of all nations, trusting that God’s kingdom will be established in His perfect timing.
Prayer Of The Day
Lord Jesus, thank You for the reminder in Acts 1:6 that Your kingdom is not bound by our expectations or understanding. Help us to trust in Your perfect plans and timing, even when they may be unclear to us. Empower us by Your Holy Spirit to be effective witnesses for You, sharing the good news of Your love and salvation with those around us. In Your name, we pray. Amen.
