Today’s Devotional
Isaiah 7:14 is a prophecy that foretells the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ. The verse speaks of a virgin conceiving a child, which was a sign from God to the people of Israel. This prophecy was fulfilled when the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive and give birth to Jesus (Luke 1:26-35).
The name “Immanuel” means “God with us.” The birth of Jesus signifies God’s presence among His people, as He came down to earth to live a perfect life, die for our sins, and rise again to offer eternal life to those who believe in Him.

Consider these questions as you reflect on the significance of Isaiah 7:14 in your own life:

- In what ways have you experienced “Immanuel” (God with us) in your own life?
- How can you share the message of God’s presence and love with others during this season and throughout the year?
