Today’s Devotional
In this passage, the Apostle Paul emphasizes the diversity of spiritual gifts within the body of Christ. Although there are various gifts, they all come from the same Holy Spirit, who distributes them according to God’s sovereign plan. This verse serves as a reminder that God has created each of us uniquely and has given us different spiritual gifts to contribute to the functioning and growth of the church.
Time to reflect
As you reflect on the diversity of spiritual gifts within the body of Christ, consider the following questions:
- What are your spiritual gifts, and how can you use them to serve God and others?
- How can you appreciate and celebrate the diverse gifts of others within your church community?
- What steps can you take to create an environment where people are encouraged to discover and use their spiritual gifts for the benefit of the church?
